FAQs
How do the snow machines get to the trailhead?
We trailer the snowmobiles and tracked UTVs to the trailhead which is about a 30 minute drive from our shop located in town Ouray. This trailhead is known as Owl Creek where there is some awesome snow trail riding.
What should we bring? How should we prepare?
We recommend that you arrive in full snow gear and layers. We recommend waterproof, warm boots, pants, jacket, and gloves. We do have some winter gear for an additional cost, however this must be coordinated ahead of time.
In order to prepare, we need all passengers to come in the morning of your reservation to complete and sign the liability waivers. Next, a damage deposit will be held on the credit card on file. Lastly, a copy of the drivers’ licenses of any persons planning to drive will be taken.
What is included with our snow tour?
We provide helmets for all riders in a snowmobiles. Helmets are optional for UTV.
We also provide an unforgettable guided experience around Owl Creek with pit stops for pictures.
How old do I have to be to rent? How old do I have to be to drive?
Renters must be 25 years old+ and with a valid driver’s license to sign rental agreement and agree to terms and conditions.
You must be 21 years old + and with a valid driver’s license to drive rental.
What is your cancellation policy?
Tours are weather dependent.
Customers will receive a full refund for cancellations made 72 hours in advance of the activity. Those who cancel with less than 72-hour notice will only be entitled to a 50% refund. No show, No call, Day of rental, No refund will be given.
Who is responsible for damage?
You are 100% responsible for damage costs, liability, or loss which includes the cost of repairs or actual cash value of the vehicle as well as the days loss while repairing the vehicle if already reserved.
